Will depend on your level of income and the property value. For first time buyers or changing your home you will be required to contribute at least 10% of the project cost. For a second personal residence you will need to provide 25% of the project cost

Tier 1 loans benefit from a fixed interest rate of 2.00% for the first two years, followed by a variable rate currently set at 2.50% per annum. Tier 2 loans benefit from a fixed interest rate of 2.00% for the first two years, followed by a variable rate currently set at 2.60% per annum. Variable rates may change in accordance with the Bank's applicable lending terms and conditions. The applicable loan tier and corresponding interest rate shall be determined based on the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of the property, in accordance with the Bank’s applicable criteria.

Provide a valid Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating and benefit from our BNF Green Home Loan. To qualify for tier 1, the energy use rating on your residence’s EPC should be 45 or less, while the Carbon Dioxide Emissions rating should be 11 or less. To qualify for tier 2, the energy use rating on your residence’s EPC should be 60 or less, while the Carbon Dioxide Emissions rating should be 15 or less.

Eligible Tier 1 customers will receive €1,500 cashback and eligible Tier 2 customers will receive €1,000 cashback. Cashback is subject to applicable terms and conditions and will be paid following loan drawdown.
