About Us

BNF Bank plc, formerly known as Banif Bank (Malta) plc, started operations in Malta in 2008 and has been established as a key player in the Maltese banking sector.

We offer personal and business clients a highly personalised service through our network of twelve retail branches spread across the Maltese Islands and a Corporate and Business Banking Centre along with a local trading room.

JUD Investment Group Ltd, a subsidiary of Al Faisal Holding Group, one of Qatar's largest private diversified groups, is BNF Bank's majority shareholder having 92.4% stake in the Bank. The remaining 7.6% of shares are held by four Maltese shareholders: PG Holdings Ltd, Virtu Investments Ltd, Sak Ltd and Mizzi Capital Projects.

We have proudly launched our new brand identity in October 2017 – BNF Bank - a brand that reflects our re-energised vision of increasing market share, taking the Bank across new frontiers, with a desire to build a new future.

Our Values

We are a team of inspired people who believe that opportunities start with a conversation, through which we strive to understand your aspirations for tomorrow.

We pride ourselves on listening and making sure we understand our clients.

The values that guide our daily behaviour are at the basis of everything we do: Ambition, Responsibility and Empathy.

Ambition to us represents a strong desire to do and achieve. We embrace change and face challenges head on, while continually looking for solutions.

We take personal responsibility for growth and development, keeping in mind the community in which we operate. We want to share our knowledge and experience with our customers, who know they can count and depend on us, and who trust our word.

We are empathic because we have the ability to understand and share the feelings of others. We understand our customers’ needs to deliver quality service. Let’s start new conversations and create new opportunities. Let’s build a new future together
