Enhanced Process For Internet Banking Transaction Limits: SEPA, Bill Payments, Internal Transfers
We have made further improvements designed to enhance your personal and business banking experience. From 2 October 2023 you will be able to transact over your profile daily limit for certain operations like SEPA, Bill Payments and Internal Transfers through internet banking.
To enjoy even greater convenience, you can also submit a high value transfer online within a business day through a digital approval process.
Through the new digital verification process, BNF Internet Banking system will accept the transfer over the stipulated limits, but not process it, it will appear as pending for Bank approval. The Bank will screen and approve each operation exceeding the limit digitally without the need for you to visit the branch. To validate the transaction, you will be contacted via telephone by your Account Manager. You will then be debited once payment is processed by the Bank staff. If you don’t validate the transaction, payment will be rejected.
The new process will keep the same daily limits, the same compliance processes and Anti-Money Laundering requirements to continue to safeguard the Bank and its customers as we do today.
