BNF Cheques – New Cheque Layout and Frequently Asked Questions
New BNF Cheque Layout – from 3rd September 2026 onwards

Old BNF Cheque Layout

BNF cheques have been updated in line with the changes outlined above. As of 3 September 2026, all newly issued BNF cheque books will use the new cheque layout, referred to in this document as the “New BNF Cheque.”
As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our cheque services and improve the customer experience, the following changes have been implemented:
- QR Code: A QR code has been added to the new cheque. This functionality will enable BNF to introduce additional cheque-related features and services for customers in the future.
- Revised Account Identification Number – This account number is intended solely for use by BNF Bank and other banks for cheque processing.
- IBAN: The IBAN displayed at the top of the cheque remains unchanged and will continue to be printed in the same format as currently used.
