BNF Bank is pleased to announce the internal promotion of three team members to the role of Area Heads within its Retail Banking Department. This development forms part of the Bank’s ongoing strategy to further enhance leadership, customer experience, and operational effectiveness across its retail network.
In their new leadership roles, Claire Mamo, Francelle Delezio and Antonella Curmi will be responsible for the Central, South and North regions respectively. Each brings extensive experience, strong leadership capability, and a deep commitment to delivering exceptional service to customers within their respective regions.
Commenting on the appointments, Rueben Bezzina, Head of Retail Banking, said:
"Strengthening our retail leadership structure is a key step in ensuring we remain close to our customers and responsive to their evolving needs. By appointing dedicated Area Heads, we are enhancing coordination across our teams, improving service consistency, and enabling a more personalised banking experience. Claire, Francelle, and Antonella have consistently demonstrated professionalism and dedication, and I am confident they will play a pivotal role in elevating our customer proposition."
Chief Banking Officer, Stewart Carvil, also welcomed the promotions, adding:
"These appointments reflect our continued investment in our people and in building a leadership framework that supports sustainable growth. Our retail network remains central to how we engage with customers, and we are focused on continuously enhancing that experience. The recent reopening of our Naxxar Branch is a strong example of how we are reimagining our retail spaces to better serve customers, combining accessibility, modern design, and a more engaging banking environment. I am confident that this strengthened leadership team will further support our ambition to deliver a differentiated and customer-focused experience."
These promotions reinforce BNF Bank’s customer-centric approach as the Bank continues to evolve its retail offering and invest in both its people and customer journey.
