BNF Bank becomes Premium Partner of the Royal Malta Golf Club

BNF Bank has been announced as the newest Premium Partner of the Royal Malta Golf Club (RMGC), marking the beginning of a strategic collaboration aimed at supporting the continued development of golf in Malta and fostering greater participation in the sport.

‍

The partnership was officially launched during a signing ceremony held at the Royal Malta Golf Club, coinciding with the Club's Annual General Meeting. The agreement was signed by RMGC Chairman Paul Stoner and BNF Bank Chief Banking Officer Glen Smith, in the presence of members, stakeholders and representatives from both organisations.

‍

As part of the collaboration, BNF Bank will become the principal sponsor of the Club's Junior Academy, which welcomes more than 100 young golfers each season and plays a vital role in nurturing the next generation of sporting talent. The sponsorship will also support the Club's successful Happy Gilmores programme, designed to introduce newcomers and beginners to the game in an inclusive and enjoyable environment.

‍

In addition, BNF Bank will sponsor two new tournaments during the upcoming playing season, further enriching the Club's calendar and creating additional opportunities for members and visitors to engage in competitive and social golfing events.

‍

Speaking during the signing ceremony, BNF Bank Chief Banking Officer Glen Smith highlighted the shared values underpinning the partnership.

‍

"At BNF Bank, we believe that strong partnerships are built on trust, shared values and a long-term vision. We are proud to partner with the Royal Malta Golf Club, an institution with a rich heritage and a strong commitment to developing the sport locally. Through this agreement, we look forward to supporting initiatives that promote participation, nurture young talent and create lasting value for members, aspiring golfers and the wider community."

‍

Commenting on the agreement, Stewart Davies, Finance Lead at the Royal Malta Golf Club, welcomed the partnership and expressed confidence in the opportunities it will create for the Club and its members.

‍

"We are delighted to welcome BNF Bank as a Premium Partner of the Royal Malta Golf Club. Their commitment to investing in youth development, community engagement and long-term growth aligns closely with our own objectives. This partnership will enhance our ability to grow the game, provide valuable opportunities for our members and aspiring golfers, and continue building a vibrant and inclusive golfing community."

‍

The partnership reflects both organisations' commitment to creating meaningful community impact through investment in sport, personal development and lifelong participation. By supporting programmes that cater to players of all ages and abilities, BNF Bank and the Royal Malta Golf Club aim to encourage wider engagement with golf while strengthening the foundations for the sport's future growth in Malta.
