Banif promotes reading at St. Margaret College

Banif Bank has kept up its commitment towards supporting education at different levels by donating a number of Maltese literature books for Year 4, 5 and 6 students at the St. Margaret College Primary School in Xgħajra.

Accepting the donation on behalf of the school during their annual Christmas Concert, Headmaster Jeffrey Caruana thanked the Bank for its contribution, saying that the books will help students appreciate Maltese literature and further develop their reading skills.

“We are very pleased to be able to help foster the love for reading in young children,” said Karl Dingli, Head of Corporate Services at Banif Bank. “With today’s online technology, we’re constantly being bombarded with content. That’s why we believe that it’s important to provide children with quality literature at a level which is adequate and complementary to their education. We hope that these books can help them embrace the joy that can be found in immersing oneself in a good story, and to further their interest and literacy in the Maltese language.”
