New Green Energy Loan from Banif Bank

Banif Bank will be participating in the Spring Eco Home Exhibition which will be held at the MFCC in Ta’ Qali between the 18th and 21st March 2010. In occasion of this fair the Bank launched a new product aimed to help clients invest in eco friendly products – the Banif Green Energy Loan.

The Banif Green Energy Loan is a fast and simple financial solution aimed at clients who wish to buy environment friendly products such as solar water heaters, roof thermal insulation, double or triple glazing, external shading, energy audits, residential energy management systems, wind turbines, photovoltaic systems, energy efficient appliances, electric cars and hybrid cars amongst others.

Clients can borrow up to the full amount of the product’s purchase price which can range between €1,000 and €35,000, at 5.5% per annum. The term of the loan can go up to 10 years and no security is required to cover the loan amount. Banif is also waiving off all the processing fees associated with this loan.

The interest rate is indexed to Banif Base Rate. All interest rates are gross rates and are correct at time of printing. Typical APR for a loan of €15,000 repayable over10 years is 5.7% p.a.
