A new Banif Bank branch in Naxxar

On the 15th September 2009, H.E. The President of Malta Dr. George Abela formally inaugurated Banif Bank’s new branch in the locality of Naxxar.

During his address Banif Bank Chairman Mr. Joseph Sammut highlighted the fact that this is a significant milestone in the Bank’s brief history. The branch in Naxxar is the seventh new branch to be opened within the first 20 months of Banif’s operations in Malta. “This is an important phase of Banif’s implementation plan in pursuit of its overall objectives, that of becoming a major player in Malta’s financial services sector – a sector which has a major role to play in putting again the national economy on the desired growth path,” commented Mr. Sammut.

The Bank is providing an efficient and reliable service to the personal and business community in Malta. Banif strives to constantly achieve the highest standards of efficiency, competitiveness, service quality and client satisfaction. Corporate Social Responsibility also features high on the Bank’s agenda. Banif is very honoured with the contribution made towards the local community even at this initial stage of the Bank’s operations. “We are satisfied that within a relatively brief period we forged an excellent relationship with a number of entities. We are committed to contribute in a modest way to the success of the initiatives undertaken by local organisations in aid of the less fortunate and needy members of society,” commented Mr. Sammut.

The Banif Chairman concluded by thanking all the employees for their efforts and sterling work.  Without their commitment and dedication it would have been impossible for the Bank to progress this far.

The Banif branch was formally inaugurated by H.E. The President of Malta, in the presence of the Naxxar Mayor, Parish Priest, Bank Directors, clients and other distinguished guests from the locality.
