#LotsOfSocks

BNF Bank employees eagerly participated in the World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) by wearing mismatching socks to raise more awareness.  The date 3-21 represents Trisomy 21, the Medical term for Down Syndrome.

“Employees were asked to wear bright, colourful and mismatched socks to highlight diversity and to create further awareness. Through this initiative we would like to make a statement that we are celebrating all wonderful aspects of people with Down Syndrome,” said Alison Grech, Coordinator of the Bank’s Human Resources Unit. “BNF Bank foremost principle is to advocate individual rights, inclusion and to accept everyone the way they are.”
