Banif supports Gozo agricultural and industrial show

10 August 2016

Banif Bank is supporting the upcoming Gozo agricultural, industrial and cultural show to be held at Villa Rundle gardens between the 14th and 15th of August.

Also known as Il-Wirja ta’ Santa Marija, the event gives local farmers an opportunity to showcase their wares, with exhibitions ranging from farm animals and songbirds to locally grown produce, wines, oil and honey.

“This show is a staple in the Gozitan calendar and a popular one among locals and visitors alike,” said Marie Josette Vella Magro, Manager of the Bank’s Victoria Branch. “The Bank is well aware that the agricultural sector is an important regional contributor to the economy and to daily life, and we are pleased to be able to lend our support.”
