Banif Bank Branch of the Year for 2011

On the eve of its third anniversary, the Banif Bank branch in Fgura received the Branch of the Year Award for 2011, reserved for the best performing retail branch within the Commercial Department of the Bank. The Award was presented to the Branch Manager, Mr Martin Borg by the Bank’s CEO, Mr Joaquim F. Silva Pinto during a lavish dinner held inside the Bank’s Board Room at the Head Office in Gzira, in the presence of all the Fgura branch staff.

During his brief address to the winners, Mr Silva Pinto said, “On behalf of the Board of Directors and the Bank’s Executive Committee, I would like to congratulate you for this achievement. You should be very proud of being the first branch to receive this award. This is an important milestone in the Bank’s history. Above all you should be even more satisfied with your performance and the contribution given towards the Bank’s overall results.”

Mr Silva Pinto concluded by reaffirming the Bank’s commitment to continue investing in its employees in order to help them meet their expectations and fulfil their desires as implied by Banif’s humanism value.The Chief Commercial Officer, Mr Luís Avides Moreira, the Chief Financial Markets & Investments Officer, Mr Paulo E. Machado Fernandes and the Head of Commercial Department, Mr Anthony Bonnici also attended the event.
