Banif Bank (Malta) plc is committed to support local enterprises grow their business. The Bank is actively engaged and focused on the provision of a whole range of banking services centred around the business needs; from maximising deposit returns to various types of financing solutions. More than a bank, Banif seeks to be a trusted partner.

To achieve this Banif strives to develop collaboration agreements with leading local entities in order to understand the real needs of the business communities in Malta and Gozo. Proof of this is the three-year agreement with the Gozo Tourism Association (GTA), intended to assist the GTA in promoting Gozo as a distinct and unique destination.

As a direct outcome of this agreement, Bank Director and Shareholder Chev. Maurice Mizzi and Gozo Branch Manager Ms Marie Josette Vella Magro were invited to take part in the Gozo Tourism Association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) that was held recently. Chev. Mizzi took the opportunity to highlight the benefits of the collaboration between Banif Bank and the Gozitan tourism industry while Ms Vella Magro delivered a presentation, giving an overview of the Bank’s products.

Through the services of its branch in Rabat, Gozo, the Bank offers a range of products which addresses the financial needs of small and large businesses, that include business overdrafts, credit line facilities, letters of credit, guarantees and SWIFT payments. Acknowledging today’s busy lifestyle, the Bank’s branch in Gozo offers an extended service from 0830 to 17:00 on weekdays and is open from 0830 till 12:30 on Saturdays.
