Banif sponsors the European Golden Boot Ceremony 2007/08

Banif Financial Group was proud to be the Portuguese financial institution to sponsor the European Golden Boot ceremony for the 2007/2008 season. The award for the top goal-scorer was presented to Manchester United and Portugal winger Cristiano Ronaldo, in the presence of Comendador Horácio Roque, Chairman of Banif Financial Group.

This remarkable event, which is normally always held at the UEFA Headquarters, was this year hosted in Madeira, given that it is the home town of both Banif and Ronaldo. Prior to this international ceremony, the Golden Boot was displayed at the Banif Head Office in Madeira so as to be admired by the general public.
