Banif Bank thanks all participants in the Fun Run 2011
Banif Bank would like to express sincere gratitude to all the participants of the President’s Charity Fun Run 2011 which was, beyond doubt a huge success and exceeded expectations in terms of attendance.
Banif Bank has supported the event since its inception three years ago and the number of participants has increased every year, placing the Fun Run as an important event in the Maltese calendar. Mr Joaquim F. Silva Pinto, Chief Executive Officer at Banif Bank stated “Banif strongly believes in the core concept of the Fun Run – that of bringing the local community together to achieve one final goal, to offer solidarity and financial support to members in our society who are going through difficult situations and are therefore in need of our help. Banif is proud to have been given this opportunity to show its dedication to the local community. As a Maltese bank, Banif will always be in the front line to contribute towards such initiatives and would like to confirm its commitment that Banif Bank will once again offer its support for the President’s Fun Run 2012.”
The Bank’s commitment was not only limited to a financial one, but Banif was also directly involved in helping the Malta Community Chest Fund organise the event. A further proof of this contribution was symbolised by the presence of Banif staff who worked closely with volunteers of the Community Chest Funds by manning the stands located at the start lines in Attard and St Venera.
Another symbol to show its appreciation to the participants was the special offer which the Bank presented together with the bibs and t-shirt upon registration. These special offers range from an advantageous rate on the standard one-year term deposit as well as beneficial rates on unsecured personal loans providing a choice to each participant depending on their particular requirements. The offer is valid until the 31st January 2012 and is valid upon presentation of the voucher.
The next important event for Banif Bank is now l-Istrina, which is held annually on the 26th December. During this event, Banif will present its generous donation to the Community Chest Fund as a way of consolidating the Bank’s active contribution to help the Maltese community; especially those who need a helping hand and offer them a possibility to believe in a brighter future.
