Administrative Officer

    The Bank is seeking to recruit an Administrative Officer to join the E-Channels Unit.

Duties and responsibilities

You will be responsible to:

  • provide specialist support to the Bank’s various departments and retail network, with respect to Card Services, Internet Banking, ATMs and any other electronic banking channels or new products or services being handled by the E-Channels Unit;

  • assist in the project developments and testing of new and existing features of the Bank’s Internet Banking service, Card services or ATM’s;

  • handle tasks related to the operations of the Bank’s ATM network, Card Services and Internet Banking that fall within the responsibility of E-Channels Unit;

  • be familiar and keep yourself updated with latest developments with the Card and Payments Industry standards in order to carry out the assigned daily operational tasks within E-Channels Unit;

  • deal with international suppliers, follow up on incidents and escalate matters with suppliers in a timely manner;

  • work on chargebacks and process claims; and

  • assist the Unit Manager with ad-hoc reports and other tasks as is required.

Competencies and experience

The potential candidate must be reliable and trustworthy, well-organised with a disposition to learn and have a team-oriented approach.

You must also:

  • possess a Diploma/Degree in Business Management or Banking & Finance;

  • adopt a meticulous and methodological approach to work;

  • be able to work on own initiative;

  • be solutions driven;

  • be resilient;

  • be familiar with Banking Accounting and Banking Fundamentals;

  • be proficient with MS Office applications;

  • have basic knowledge in IT;

  •  have experience in testing which will be considered an asset; and

  • have knowledge of the Cards business, which will also be considered an asset.
