Administrative Officer

Duties & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- processing legal related matter tasks such as deceased customer and garnishee mandates;
- performing due diligence process of the opening of accounts for personal and non-personal customers;
- performing Inward and outward clearing process;
- managing the handling and processing of inward and outward payments both sepa and non sepa; and
- handling chasers and queries on payments.
Competencies & Experience
The potential candidate should be reliable and trustworthy, well-organised with a disposition to learn and have a team-oriented approach.
You must:
- possess a Diploma/Degree in Business Management or Banking & Finance;
- adopt a target driven approach to work;
- have good analytical skills and attention to detail;
- possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Maltese;
- possess excellent Microsoft Office application skills mainly in the use of Excel and Word; and
- be willing to work occasionally on Saturdays.
- Having previous banking experience, is considered an asset.
